Photos,Media, or Navigation Tools

May include editing, resizing, optimizing, swish effects, or flash effects. We also are equipped to provide photos for your web site.

Most photos require resizing and optimizing for the web. This is a fairly simple operation.  Other special effects are much more complicated and time consuming and require creating and development steps before they can be added to the web page.. It is important that you provide photos at the beginning of the project. If you do not have photos, I can schedule a photo shoot with you, or, stock photos may be purchased online. 

Text

May include developing, editing, formatting textual items.

The client is responsible for providing the necessary content for the web site. 

Annual Registration of Domain Name

This is an annual fee.

Clients may prefer to register their own domain name.  The Wandering Web Weaver does, however, provide this service. This is an annual fee.

Web Site Hosting

Insuring that your site is up and visible 24/7.  This is an annual fee.

It is recommended that The Wandering Web Weaver provide this service.  However, the client may provide their own web site hosting service if they prefer. This is an annual fee.

Search Engine Visibility

Ensuring that your web site is accessible to search engines and directories.

$25 basic plan.

More aggressive plans available.

Appropriate meta tags, keywords, etc. are attached initially to all of your web pages.  Search engine visibility, however, is not a static operation.  Your site’s visibility on the internet is determined by your competition.  If you feel you need more than just basic listings, we will be happy to discuss more intense advertising strategies.

Annual Maintenance and Upgrades

After your first year, you will perhaps need to make updates and changes to keep your web site current.

Because I charge by the hour for changes, it is suggested that the client keep a list of necessary updates and changes to their site and email those changes on a monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual basis.This will help keep the cost to the client down.
